About Us

ATL ZooM Athletics was formed in 2016 as a result of an increased demand from parents to form a track program that not only enhances sports performance, but that also focuses on the importance of academics and community service. Our experienced and skilled Coaching Staff utilizes the performance training methodologies that encompass more power and speed that carry-over to facets of every sport, which sets us apart from other youth track & field programs.

We are a sanctioned, 501(c)(3) nonprofit youth track program, governed by USATF and AAU. In only 6 years, we have produced over 60 National Champions and over 150 of All-Americans. We focus on being scholar athletes and every athlete must maintain at least a B average, while participating with ATL ZooM Athletics. Our age range is 9-18, with boys and girls. Every athlete also participates in ZooMin to Action, our community service outreach program. Since 2016, we have had a 100% graduation rate and 95% of our athletes get track and field scholarships from D1/D2 Universities. We have athletes located all over the Country representing ATL ZooM – check out our Alumni page!!

Our program competes in Indoor, Spring and Summer seasons. Our Off-Season Conditioning begins late September to early December and incorporates strength and core workouts, hill and sand work, and weight training (for additional fees). Indoor season begins early December to mid March with travel responsibilities of the athletes parents/guardian. The regular track season consists of both Spring beginning early March to late May and Summer May til late July. Each year depends on how far our participants’ progress to the elite track venues, such as the Junior Olympics. Many of our athletes who are in sports outside of track and field utilize this program to keep fit and to prepare for other in-season sports.
